Once you get your hands on Lounge Lizard, that elusive electric piano sound becomes a reality—you'll be proppelled into inspirational space.

What's New in Lounge Lizard EP-3

Building up on our physical modeling know-how, we've come up with the refinements that takes one of the most impressive and unanimously acclaimed software instrument of the industry further ahead.

  • Presets The brand new library fully exploits the refinements on offer and covers all your electric piano needs.

4front Piano Module

v1.0

This is a small and versatile piano module with unique sound.

This piano module is neither a sample player, nor synthesized. It's a hybrid technology, that combines both methods. This resulted in a great module size reduction and light CPU usage.

If you look for the updated technology and a professional grade Piano instrument VSTi, then TruePianos is for you. It is based on my recent research and developments in the area of virtual piano reproduction and offers a great playability.

Unlike many other piano modules (like those gigabyte pianos), these module will never overload CPU. They will never stick notes, and never break the sound or click during live performances.

As a replacement for this small module, few people may would prefer mda-Piano instead, however for professional usage there is no argument about advanced TruePianos modules.

  • Single Preset piano module.
  • Low CPU usage.

4front E-Piano Module

v1.0

E-Piano module with a rich, warm and silky sound. It is quite unique by its character.

The module is made with a hybrid technology, which involves sample playback and synthesizing within one case.

For its quality, module has reasonable small size.

Unlike many other software modules and samplers, this one will never overload CPU. It will never stick notes, and never break the sound or click during live performances.

  • Single Preset e-piano module.
  • Low CPU usage.

4front Bass Module

v1.0

4Front Bass Module is a FREE load & play VSTi software bass synthesizer that "generates a high quality bass sound".

With the proprietary 4Front hybrid synthesis technology, 4Front modules take generally smaller space than the sampled versions of the same quality, and the CPU usage is optimal.

4front TruePianos

v1.0

TruePianos is based on a combination of physical modeling, synthesis and sampler techniques.

Using a combination of the best of what these individual technologies have to offer, TruePianos provides great playability by allowing itself to be easily adjusted to the combination of your unique playing style and the specific characteristics of your MIDI keyboard, instead of the other way around.

It doesn't attempt to meticulously simulate existing pianos but instead provides realistic and expressive range of piano modules, each with individual dry sounding presets that you 'just play'.

TruePianos does not rely on disk streaming, has a low memory footprint and optimized CPU usage making it ideal for live performances, even on 1 Ghz CPUs while features like sympathetic resonance are active.

For the more serious pianists an enhanced polyphony mode is available as well as multi-CPU support to make sure that even with extreme polyphony, Truepianos will not choke on most computers sold over the past 2-3 years.

Key features:

  • Extremely playable.
  • Intuitive no-nonsense user interface.
  • Low CPU usage and Multi-CPU support.
  • Small memory and disk footprint.
  • Piano modules with multiple presets.
  • Dry unprocessed sound.
  • Sympathetic Resonance, Repedalling, etc. are supported.
  • Free updates and additional piano add-ons during the first year after purchase.
